A police sergeant on scene praised the witnesses and officer for their heroic actions and essentially saving the man's life.Police say an older man was on a motorcycle exiting a parking lot on Blanco Road near West Avenue when an SUV was turning into the parking lot.
Police say the man either laid the motorcycle down or skidded to stop himself from hitting the SUV and became trapped underneath the vehicle and motorcycle. Several witnesses along with a responding officer helped lift the motorcycle off the man which allowed the man to be pulled to safety. A police sergeant on scene praised the witnesses and officer for their heroic actions that essentially saved the man.
