'South Park' fans will have to wait a bit longer for the adult cartoon's next episode
There was supposed to be a new episode of “South Park” on Wednesday, Sept. 17, but the show’s creators announced a delay at the last minute. “Apparently when you do everything at the last minute sometimes you don’t get it done.
This one’s on us. We didn’t get it done in time. Thanks to Comedy Central and South Park fans for being so understanding. Tune in next week,” Trey Parker and Matt Stone wrote in a“South Park” previously poked fun at Kirk during an August episode titled “Got a Nut.” It featured a story line where Clyde Donovan and Eric Cartman began espousing far-right talking points during online debates. Cartman donned a Kirk-esque haircut and outfit in the episode and lost a “Charlie Kirk Award for Young Master Debaters” to Donovan.Some “South Park” fans speculated that this week’s episode was delayed as Parker and Stone figure out how to address Kirk’s death, if at all. There could be consequences for doing so, as shown by the“Rewriting Charlie Kirk Awards part 2 I guess,” another person quipped. “The Jimmy Kimmel getting fired got everyone spooked. Freedom of speech is done boys,” a third fan commented.When is the next ‘South Park’ episode coming out? Parker and Stone confirmed that the next episode of “South Park” will air on Wednesday, Sept. 24.
