Mirabella residents heading back to their orange-trim apartment building after class last month at Arizona State University in Tempe, Ariz.TEMPE, Ariz.—Arizona State University officials have bragged about hosting “the world’s coolest dorm.” That is debatable. But there’s little argument ASU has the most expensive. Housing at Mirabella requires one-time fees that go from $440,000 to more than $1 million. Residents pay another $4,000 to $8,000 a month, which includes classes and meals.
