Where to celebrate Easter in Dallas-Fort Worth, from egg hunts to renaissance festivals, plus more egg-citing fun.

There are lots of fun events happening like egg hunts, a Bunny Palooza, and easter weekend at the Scarborough festival.GET THE GOLDEN EGG AT SIDE QUEST ARCADE! Head over to Side Quest Arcades at the Firewheel Town Center in Garland. Play unlimited all-day gameplay, receive a free golden egg and win prizes.Easter weekend is also the opening weekend of the Scarborough Renaissance Festival. Attendees can attend the Renaissance Easter Service and families can enjoy their kids entering for free during Kids’ Free Weekend. There will also be an Easter egg stroll plus other fun activities from 1545.: April 4 and 5 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 2511 FM66, Waxahachie. One-day tickets for 13 and up are $32 in advance or $38 at the gate. Tickets for kids ages 5 to 12 are $14 in advance and $18 at the gate. Kids 4 and under are free. Weekend passes are also available. Festival continues through May 25.Take the kids to the Hilton Anatole to participate in fun Easter activities. The activities include timed egg hunts separated by age, face painting, a balloon artist and a visit from the Easter Bunny. There will also be snacks and beverages for kids and adults.Families can explore the Stockyards in Fort Worth and look for hidden Easter eggs filled with candy and toys. The day will also include pics with the Easter Bunny, live music and kid-friendly activities.A family-friendly Easter celebration at The Village will be an afternoon full of crafts, face painting, lawn games, a bounce house, candy and toys. There will also be pics with the Easter Bunny.: April 3 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Village Dallas, 5605 Village Glen Drive. General admission is free for residents and $5 for nonresidents.The PGA Frisco will be hosting a day full of springtime and Easter events. Children can participate in the Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt and win an Eggmazing machine, take photos with the Easter Bunny, interact with animals at the petting zoo, and play carnival games.: April 4 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at PGA District, 3255 PGA Parkway, Frisco. Tickets are $13.24 adults and $36.27.Go on a 90-minute train ride during Easter weekend. Each passenger will receive a prepackaged bag of Easter candy and a visit from the Easter Bunny.: April 4 and 5 from 9 a.m. to 5:40 p.m. at Grapevine Vintage Railroad, 705 S. Main St., Grapevine. Tickets are $22.The annual tradition that takes place at Turtle Creek Park returns this year. During the afternoon, families can enjoy an Easter egg hunt with 15,000 eggs, the Pooch Parade, and performances by a DJ and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra brass quintet. There will also be free photos with the Easter Bunny.Melanie Fox dressed her Shih Tzu Cleopatra , her Yorkie-mix Ameera and Chihuahua Akeem, riding on a palanquin carried by Chris Cook, in the Pooch Parade at Easter in Turtle Creek Park in 2024. The group was dressed in Roman Empire-era costumes.Bring your flashlight and your basket while hunting for Easter eggs after dark at the Joe Farmer Recreation Center in Allen.: April 2 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Joe Farmer Recreation Center, East Bethany Drive, Allen. Price is $8 for members and $11 for nonmembers.Yesterland Farm will be hosting Easter fun on the weekends of March and April. Visitors can participate in Easter egg hunts, Easter Bunny and lamb photos, hay wagon rides, and more farm attractions.: Continues through April 19, open on the weekends from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Yesterland Farm, 15410 Interstate 20, Canton.
