- Warm, spring weather is sticking around the Wiregrass through the end of the work week, with sunny skies and a couple of brief cooler patches interrupting an otherwise very warm end of March.After cooler, more seasonable air moved in yesterday afternoon, we’ll see those conditions hold steady today.
Expect partly cloudy skies with a stray sprinkle possible, but rain chances remain minimal at just 10%. High temperatures will climb to near 77°, with light east-southeast winds at 5-10 mph.Thursday and Friday: Pleasant end to the work week Thursday will see mostly sunny skies with highs near 83°, and Friday keeps those mostly sunny skies around with noticeably warmer air, with highs climbing to near 86°. If you’ve been waiting for a pleasant day to get outside, these are your days. Light south-southeast winds will keep conditions comfortable. However, another weak cold front will move through Friday night and early Saturday morning. Just like the system that passed through earlier this week, this front will bring very little rain — so don’t expect much moisture. What you will notice is cooler, more seasonable air returning for the weekend.Saturday will once again see temperatures turn a little cooler, with highs only reaching 79° under mostly sunny skies. Sunday will be partly cloudy with highs in the middle 70s as temperatures continue to moderate. Into next week, we’ll stay dry with temperatures climbing back into the upper 70s and low 80s. A stray shower or two is possible Tuesday, but overall, expect a quiet weather pattern to dominate through early next week.Enjoy the warmer conditions through Friday, expect a brief cool-down over the weekend, then warmer and dry weather returns early next week.
