The trail stretches for around 1km, and those who complete their journey can collect a reward at the end
An “unforgettable” Easter trail filled with magical mermaids and unicorn pedalos has confirmed its return after initially being cancelled. Springland was set to transform Partridge Lakes near Warrington into a colourful new adventure last weekend.
However, because of the weather , this wasn’t the case. However, the team behind the family attraction has now confirmed it will go ahead this Easter weekend - starting on Good Friday, April 3 . The event will offer an immersive outdoor experience packed with fantasy, storytelling, and interactive fun. Created by the team behind last year’s popular Halloween attraction, the event promises a completely fresh seasonal atmosphere while keeping the same focus on imaginative entertainment. At the heart of the experience is an interactive quest, where visitors join Princess Araya on a mission to save the magical world of Springland. Armed with a map, families can explore the trail at their own pace, encountering a variety of enchanting characters and completing themed challenges along the way. Children can step into the role of knights in training at the castle, meet and feed alpacas at Twinklehorn Farm, make wishes at a woodland well, and even join in songs with mermaids by the water. The trail stretches for around 1km, and those who complete their journey can collect a reward at the end. Adding to the fun, visitors can take to the water on character-themed pedalos shaped like unicorns, flamingos, and dragons. There are also plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the lakeside setting, with food and drink options including a café, coffee hut, and vendors serving everything from sweet treats to stone-baked pizzas. The organisers say the new event builds on the success of their previous attraction while offering something completely different for spring. They describe it as a vibrant, family-friendly experience filled with colour, creativity, and seasonal surprises. Springland owners Barbara Ikin and Callum Morgan said: “After the incredible response to Halloweenville, we’re thrilled to introduce Springland - a brand-new seasonal experience bursting with colour, entertainment and springtime surprises. “It’s a completely different atmosphere, but with the same passion for immersive fun that our visitors know and love. Springland marks an exciting new chapter for us here at Partridge Lakes, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone.” Entry is through timed tickets, but guests are free to stay and explore for the duration of their chosen session. Dedicated sensory sessions will also be available, designed to provide a quieter and more accessible environment for visitors with additional needs. The event is suitable for all ages, with full access for wheelchairs and prams, and even welcomes dogs. Springland will run across selected dates from late March through mid-April, with tickets starting at £20 for children and £17 for adults, available to book online.
