The luxury retreat features a stunning rooftop pool
A historic Peak District spa hotel has been recognised among the best in the country. The Buxton Crescent was featured in Conde Nast Traveller Readers' Choice Awards 2024 for the top destination spas.
The spa is one of two locations in the north of England that made the cut and was joined by The Gilpin Hotel & Lake House, a boutique Lake District retreat. Buxton Crescent secured 15th place with a satisfaction score of 81.47, while the Gilpin Hotel and Lake House scored 86.67. It features a stunning indoor-to-outdoor rooftop pool and a refurbished Victorian thermal pool filled with heated Buxton mineral water, reports the Manchester Evening News. Buxton Crescent, the luxury spa hotel set within a historic Grade I listed building, offers guests unique treatments not available anywhere else in the UK.
