Research by Parkdean Resorts has revealed the most popular autumn walking locations in the UK according to TikTok, with three stunning spots in the Peak District National Park making the top ten.
Autumn is now underway and many of us with be wrapping up and heading out to soak up the stunning scenery Merseyside has to offer. Whether it's a day out, a Sunday morning stroll or heading to your local park with family and friends, our region boasts many places to visit. The ECHO recently did a round-up of just nine autumnal walks for you to do on Merseyside in the coming weeks. But there is also plenty to see slightly further afield if you fancy venturing outside of the region.
In seventh place was Mam Tor, which offers incredible views across Edale, Castleton and the Hope Valley. The ECHO recently reported how it's become a popular spot for watching sunrises. Mam Tor, meaning Mother Hill, is over 500m tall and is often referred to as the 'shivering mountain.
