Fans might have to wait a little bit longer for Amazon’s upcoming “Tomb Raider” series.

Filming was paused after the lead actress, Sophie Turner, was injured. “Sophie Turner recently experienced a minor injury. As a precaution, production has briefly paused to allow her time to recover. We look forward to resuming production as soon as possible,” Amazon MGM Studios told. “Sophie has been throwing herself into the role, but the grueling physicality of being Lara Croft has meant she has pushed her body too far.” The source also said many on set fear the “Game of Thrones” actress will have to be replaced if she can’t recover from her injury quickly enough, but much of the show has already been filmed, having gone into production in January. “Tomb Raider” is a TV adaptation of the popular video game franchise, following the adventures of archaeologist and adventurer Lara Croft. Alongside Turner, the show will star Sigourney Weaver, Jason Isaacs, Martin Bobb-Semple, Jack Bannon, John Heffernan, Bill Paterson, Paterson Joseph, Sasha Luss, Juliette Motamed, Celia Imrie, and August Wittgenstein.
