, a national nonprofit dedicated to providing neonatal intensive care unit parents with support and resources, is hosting Central Texas ’ largest NICU Graduate Reunion with presenting sponsor St. David’s HealthCare.
This family-friendly event is free to all Central Texans and their families in support of NICU graduates. The event gives NICU graduates a chance to cross the graduation stage at Q2 Stadium and allows families to celebrate how far they have come. Guests will enjoy live music, kid-friendly activities, food and fun raffle prizes. Because of the intense nature of the care provided for babies in the NICU and the length of their stay, parents often form lifelong relationships with their doctors, nurses and other NICU families. This event provides a fun and celebratory opportunity for care teams and families to reunite. Participants are encouraged to register to attend and to reserve a time to watch your NICU grad cross the stage. Hand to Hold provides support to parents at no cost to families and all support is designed with the emotional, physical and social needs of the NICU parent in mind. The mental health support staff is composed of NICU graduate and bereaved parents with specialized training.
