The trio appeared in court
Three Greater Manchester men have appeared in court after disorder erupted in Southport . Violent scenes broke out in the seaside town on July 30, the day after three children were killed in a devastating knife attack.
The trio were charged this week and have appeared before magistrates. Sean Beech, 55, of Len Cox Walk, Manchester city centre, appeared in Liverpool Magistrates Court yesterday . He was charged with violent disorder, attempted Section 18 assault and Section 39 assault . Two more suspects, both from Wigan, were charged this morning and later appeared in Liverpool Magistrates Court.
