Three sisters open a new Pilates studio in Whitefield after the boom in the exercise
Popular trends have emerged from the fitness industry, and amongst the list of exercises one in particular has boomed.
“We did a lot of Pilates between the three of us," Director of the business Sam, 30, told the Manchester Evening News. "It is just such a booming industry - health and wellbeing - and it has been really good.” Working alongside her two sisters, Ellie, 26, and Mia, 21, she spoke about the excitement of the next step for the family, as she said: “We are trying to do something for us as a family and as a community.
And with a new unit opening two doors down the road becoming available in January, they said it was impossible to ignore, even joking: “People can come and do Pilates and then go get their hair blow dried if they really wanted too.” With 577 customers registering to the Pilates studio website it has shown the demand from the community with Sam adding future plans for the studio: “We wanted a positive environment where people would come and relax, and do a workout and bring everyone together.
