Pokemon Pokopia player character taking a selfie with Drifloon and a Dragonite doll

Ever since it was released, Pokémon Pokopia has been the gift that keeps on giving when it comes to unique discoveries and creative player builds that push what we expect from the franchise past its limits.

While it might not be the most groundbreaking gameplay discovery, one Pokopia player recently pointed out that you can break one of the longest-standing rules in the franchise. With all the humans that could stop you finally out of the way, Reddit user Ryaquaza1 took advantage of the chance to do what we never thought was possible, placing a bike inside a PokémonCentre. After decades of players hearing that it's"neither the time nor the place for such a thing" when attempting an indoor joyride, it's certainly one of the more nostalgic Pokopia discoveries so far. Pokopia Players Have Broken One Of Pokémon's First Rules Even if Rayquaza1's discovery doesn't have any real gameplay implications, given that Ditto can't actually ride bikes in Pokopia, it's still a somber reminder that there truly aren't any humans like Professor Oak left around to chastise you for attempting to do so. Given that Pokopia's world itself takes place in the ruins of the very first Kanto region, the reference feels even more fitting as well. A bike can also be seen being used in a Pokémon Center in the second episode of the original Pokémon anime. While Pokopa is far from the first entry in the franchise to break the rules of Pokémon, that hasn't stopped players from making plenty of jokes about the subject. PrimalPokemonPlayer calls it the "true signs of the apocalypse," and Adventurous_Author56 claims that Professor Oak can still sense it"somewhere in space". Pokopia Has An Unmatched Level Of Player Freedom While you'll have to get lucky scavenging through large relics to get your very own bike, fans have already pointed out that the ability to "decorate the inside of the centre & also the gateway rooms between zones is such a nice feature" for player freedom. With such a high level of customization and ways to decorate your own island, it's not hard to see why some players are worried they can never go back to mainline Pokémon games again, especially with their much more formulaic design in comparison to Pokopia.
