with attempted murder and Ernest Charles Jackson with felony solicit murder in this case.Authorities have arrested two men in connection with a shooting that left a man in critical condition in August, 2025.. Officers who responded to the scene were told that Goodwyn, the victim, had been taken to Baptist South Medical Center with multiple gunshot wounds. During the ensuing investigation, authorities developed Hawthorne and Jackson as two possible suspects. According to court records, Goodwyn, who had been in a medically induced coma, later identified Hawthorne in a photo lineup as the person who shot him.After being taken into custody, court documents add that Hawthorne confessed to being hired to kill Goodwyn and shooting him multiple times.All three have been booked into the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
