Miller and Cook were found dead in an abandoned oil field in League City, Texas, long known as the Texas Killing Fields, Elmore is accused of helping Clyde Edwin Hedrick, a longtime suspect in the cases, hide Miller and Cook’s remains, KPRC reported. Hedrick, who maintained his innocence in an August 2024 interview with KPRC, died last week as prosecutors were preparing murder charges.
