Here are some of the best things to do this weekend in San Diego from Thursday, Oct. 12 to Sunday, Oct. 15. “Sumo”: La Jolla Playhouse presents the world premiere of Lisa Sanaye Dring’s play about six men training and fighting to succeed at an elite sumo wrestling center in contemporary Japan. 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays; 8 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays; 2 and 8 p.m. Saturdays; 2 and 7 p.m. Sundays. Through Oct. 22.
There will be mini pumpkin decorating and crafts for the little ones. 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $7; free for children younger than 4. Kids can wear costumes.
