For Sinton catcher Rylan Galvan, his baseball team is truly like family as he celebrates a championship win with his twin brother and teammate Rene.
PUBLISHED 2:38 PM CDT Jun. 17, 2022AUSTIN, Texas — The Sinton baseball team made the state tournament last season but lost in the semifinals. They used that defeat to fuel them this year and get them back to the final four. This time they completed the mission and won the 4A state title with a 9-0 victory over Argyle.Had two hits in their semifinal win“So much emotion goes into this since the end of last year,” says senior catcher Rylan Galvan.
“That’s special, he’s had a lot of ups and downs in his career,” says Rylan. “To see him bust his tail everyday is amazing. I’m so grateful to call him my brother.” “See my day wake up every morning and work as hard as he does to put us in the best situation,” says Rylan. “It’s really what’s driven me to go out every day and work as hard as me and my brother do. I’m so grateful to do this for my mom and my dad.”
