TESDA offers free online courses during COVID19Quarantine
MANILA - The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority said Wednesday it was offering free online courses for Filipinos to learn new skills while on lockdown because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Among courses offered in the program are massage therapy, basic computer operation, web development, bread and pastry production, and cookery. "Because ang advise sa ating mga kababayan ay to stay at home to stop the spread of the coronavirus, para may ginagawa 'yong mga kababayan natin, we expanded itong TESDA online [courses] natin," he said.Those interested may register on the TESDA website. Enrollees will be given a certificate of completion after finishing a course.
