He claimed to be from NYC and unfamiliar with the area. Then he started asking me about Maman, which is close by. I gave him directions, and then he said “we should go get coffee sometime.” I knew the shtick from reading PoPville so I said “my husband wouldn’t like that” and I got the hell out of there fast. Thankfully, he did not follow, though he likely just started scanning for another victim.
