A Stark County grand jury dropped the kidnapping charges against Joshua Freymuth a week after being arraigned in Alliance Muni Court.
According to Alliance Police, Joshua Freyermuth was arrested on the 2200 block of Route 62 in Columbiana County on a warrant of attempted kidnapping.ALLIANCE, Ohio - A Stark County grand jury dropped the kidnapping charges against Joshua Freyermuth a week after being arraigned in Alliance Muni Court.Jail records show Freyermuth is still in custody.During the arraignment, Freyermuth could be heard saying “I wasn’t even there,” and “I didn’t kidnap anybody,” over the video call.
The original police report claimed Freyermuth told the child “I need to talk to you” in an attempt to lure the 11-year-old off of his property and away from his dog.
