Warrensville Heights' stifling defense held St. Edward scoreless in the first quarter, forcing the Eagles to an 0-of-7 shooting performance. The Chet Mason Invitational game at Brush High School in Lyndhurst saw the Tigers jump out to a 13-point lead. But St. Edward refused to give up, chipping away at the deficit throughout the game. Edward prevailed, fueled by a stellar performance from Junior wing Bryan Vlosich. Vlosich poured in 17 points and connected on four 3-pointers, playing a pivotal role in the victory. Senior guard Drew Yurcich added 16 points, including the game-winning basket down the stretch. This crucial win was particularly significant for St. Edward, who had lost two of their last three games. J.T. Kelsheimer contributed 11 points and three assists, while Boden Grant grabbed nine rebounds for the Eagles (11-5).
