A diamondback watersnake was trying to devour a fish on the surface when a passerby started taking video and pictures.
When Brian Hughes , 33, and wife Stephanie Hughes , 33, went strolling along the San Antonio River Walk on Tuesday, they didn't expect a scene from a nature documentary. But they caught full view of a snake trying to devour a fish in the water as they stood in front of the San Antonio River Authority between Johnson Street and the Blue Star Arts Complex .

'We walked down those stairs, and saw a snake devouring a fish.'
