International Bank of Commerce has purchased a sliver of land across from its office complex along the San Antonio River Walk downtown. Before it was acquired by the Laredo -based bank, the 0.2-acre site at 151 E. Travis St. had been eyed for a boutique hotel and was later foreclosed on by a lender. IBC Bank bought the property last week from Equity Secured Investments Inc. , which acquired it at a foreclosure auction in June with a bid of $2.3 million, deed records show.
