Seattle police arrested three people during two separate narcotics operations in Seattle's Chinatown-International District last week.

Seattle police said on Jan. 6, bike officers arrested two men during a narcotics operation after observing multiple drug transactions near 12th Avenue and South King Street.
Police said at 11:12 a.m., officers saw the two men selling drugs before they moved in and arrested the men. One of the men, a 49-year-old, was found with a loaded 9mm handgun, 0.5 grams of fentanyl powder, and $87 in cash. The 49-year-old man was identified by police as a convicted felon who was prohibited from possessing a gun. He was booked into the King County jail on charges of narcotics possession and unlawful possession of a firearm, according to police.
The second man, 40, had 18 grams of methamphetamine and $504 in cash and was booked into the King County jail on narcotics charges, according to police.On Jan. 11, Seattle police said they arrested a 56-year-old woman during a narcotics surveillance operation in the CID neighborhood. Police said officers observed her conduct several narcotics transactions near the 1200 block of South King Street at around 4:30 p.m.
"Officers arrested the woman after she entered a nearby business. Police recovered 8.5 grams of fentanyl powder, including 65 individual bundles, and $1,288 in cash," wrote Seattle police on its website. "She was booked into King County Jail on narcotics charges. The Narcotics Unit is investigating.
