Although online shopping has cut into its success, it still remains the biggest day of the year when it comes to retail foot traffic.
“There's a lot of people coming in. It's busier than we've had in every other year, especially after COVID. But now it's jam-packed,” Cassiopia Janavaras, store lead at Walmart emphasizes Black Friday is back with tons of foot traffic. “Today is Black Friday. Huge. Huge day for us, especially here in San Antonio, we have a lot of great deals going on. There's a lot of great items, as far as toys, electronic items, so there's a little bit of something for everybody,” said Janavaras.Big screen TVs were one of the many items people were eager to grab.
“The biggest ones are going to be our TCL 65-inch. And then we also have some Beats headphones that are really going as well as Lego,” she added.“There were some good sales in there. Saved a little bit of money. They're not the best, but they're just enough to where you have to buy them now like it's a good savings,” he said.“You could find some really, really good sales. Now it's a sale. You're still saving some money, but not as much as you used to,” he added.
