Christmas music has been blasting from the Zoo Train through Brackenridge Park , the University of the Incarnate Word campus is all lit up and skaters are making loops in the rink at Travis Park . But the holiday season isn’t really official in San Antonio until the Ford Holiday River Parade takes place. This year’s parade, which gets going at 6 p.m. Friday, will feature 27 illuminated floats and five bearing live entertainment.
