In a statement to KSAT on Monday evening, a district spokesperson said its operations team had been “preparing for winter weather since summer,” and all relevant systems had been serviced."Over the weekend, staff walked all campuses to ensure our buildings were ready to receive staff and students this week when cold weather is expected. We have not experienced any major issues today; however, we are working with a few schools on single classroom issues," the statement reads.
