“But theatre is not a panacea, or the silver bullet. For sure, most English classes can incorporate more play to encourage the use of the language, not unlike speech and drama classes. He explained that there are two main aspects of theatre in education: the performative aspect where students build confidence to speak before an audience in public; and the technical aspect where one is taught discipline and the preparation involved in performing as a team.
