At the time, the brand also pointed out that the original Reverso design was square. The Squadra was made in steel and gold variations, and there was even a ladies’ model with diamonds, but it was controversial because by then the rectangular shape seemed to define the Reverso. It was discontinued in 2012. There are plenty on the secondary market, but it would be nice to see what an updated design and tweaked movement would look like in that tidy, squared-off case shape.
