The Las Vegas Raiders will take on the Green Bay Packers in Week 5, so we take a closer look at their head coach, Matt LaFleur.
After dropping a close game to the Los Angeles Chargers, the Las Vegas Raiders are looking to avoid a fourth straight loss to the Green Bay Packers next week on Monday Night Football.
The Packers are coached by Matt LaFleur, who is in his fifth season as head coach. He has a 51-24 record in that time with a .680 winning percentage. LaFleur had three straight seasons of 13 wins before 2022 and two NFC Championship Game appearances. Last season was the only season he has missed the playoffs.
LaFleur runs a zone based offense and the Packers have been an effective rushing team since he took over as head coach, rushing 1,847 times for 8,224 yards and 62 touchdowns. With two talented running backs with different rushing styles, LaFleur’s rushing attack can be tough to stop. LaFleur has only faced the Raiders once as a head coach in Week 7 of the 2019 season, a game in which the Packers won 42-24.
