A woman driving in Mobile, Alabama, captured a dramatic scene on video as police surrounded a vehicle near the intersection of Old Shell and Cody roads. The arrest led to the apprehension of a 30-year-old man wanted on a warrant charging him with murder and attempted murder.

“There was one car in front of me, and we were just sitting there at the light, red,” said Melissa Denbow, who videotaped the event. “And then all of a sudden, I mean, it was like out of nowhere.”, a 30-year-old Mobile man wanted on a warrant charging him with murder and attempted murder. He also charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle and two counts of reckless endangerment. In addition, he picked up new drug charges during Monday’s stop.
On Tuesday, Mobile County District Judge Zackery Moore denied bail because of a hold related to allegations that Maye violated probation on a previous marijuana possession conviction. A judge on Friday issued an arrest warrant for Maye after determining that he failed to show for a meeting with his probation officer.Denbow said just before Monday’s arrest, an SUV came out of nowhere in front of her and a couple more came on either side.
“And then it all started taking place,” she said. “And they jumped out, and it was just like bam, you know. Like, within seconds, it was all happening.”“We were all kind of surrounded,” she said. “So, I mean, you couldn’t go anywhere. I knew the police weren’t going to do anything to put us in danger. But I mean, it was a little unnerving, yeah.
