The crash happened just north of Semmes
) - The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has released a statement regarding a traffic accident that happened in Mobile County Friday night.“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 8:47 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, has claimed the life of Mobile man. Vernon Harshaw, 37, was fatally injured when the 2016 Dodge Charger he was driving left the roadway, went into a ditch, struck a culvert and overturned. Harshaw was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected.
Harshaw was transported to USA Providence Hospital in Mobile, where he succumbed to injuries and was pronounced deceased. The crash occurred on Alabama 217 near the 11 mile marker, approximately one mile north of the Semmes City Limits, in Mobile County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
