An officer stopped a motorcyclist for the way he was driving.
The driver told the officer that Parma police had stopped him earlier and did not want him, even though he had a warrant with that city. The officer notified Parma and was told the driver could be released.Found property: Columbia Road
A woman found a credit card Oct. 5 in the parking lot of Drug Mart. She drove to the police station and dropped it off. The card’s owner was contacted and planned to pick it up later.A resident went to the police station Oct. 6 to report an identity theft incident.An officer went to the Speedway gas station at 7:40 a.m. Oct. 8 about a man who was sleeping inside his car.
The man said he was homeless and no longer lived at a residence in the city. A spokesperson with the gas station said no one wanted him sleeping on the property.An officer cited cars on several streets between 3 and 4 a.m. Oct. 9 for illegally parking on the street.A resident called police Oct. 10 about drivers who were cutting through a lot to avoid the light at the Water Street intersection. Cones have been put up, but the motorists run over them.
