As the search for suspects in the Maplewood Park mass shooting continues, police have released pictures of two more men they say were armed with handguns at the

Rochester police are asking for help identifying these two men, who were pictured with guns during a fatal mass shooting at Maplewood Park , Sunday, July 28, 2024. Two people were killed and five others were injured after gunfire erupted during a cookout at the park July 28, around 6:20 p.m.

"I want to remind everyone that investigations like this are very methodical, very deliberate and careful," Rochester Police Deputy Chief Keith Stith said during a press conference Monday. "That’s why the community help is so important." Police say incidents like these cannot be normalized, and public spaces like Maplewood Park should be for everybody to enjoy.

"Maplewood park is our park," Stith continued. "The people who gathered there are from our community. Let’s protect our park and protect our community."Anyone who may know the names of any of these men are asked to call the Rochester Police Department Major Crimes Unit at 428-8157 or email [email protected].
