"When you have someone in a park that went there for a barbecue, or to push their child on a swing, but then have to be met with gunfire, the implications of that are far-reaching." Evans said during Monday's press conference. "So, although the city and county can't solve this by ourselves, it is important we provide that space.""Violence like this impacts people deeply. Dozens of people that were there when Tyasia and Phylicia were killed.
