Vandals struck multiple school parking lots full of cars Thursday morning.
Upper Arlington Schools said approximately 18 vehicles were broken into in one of the parking lots at Upper Arlington High School. According to the district, multiple individuals arrived in a single vehicle and spread out to break into many parked cars in a short period of time.
Grandview Heights said police received a call from a business in the 900 block of Goodale Boulevard about shattered vehicle windows around 8:45 a.m. and more calls around 10:25 a.m. from areas with schools in them about "numerous vehicles with shattered windows.""These incidents are confirmed to be connected to similar crimes reported in other Central Ohio jurisdictions," Grandview Heights said.
