Dispatched to a reported hit/skip car crash 5:16 p.m. Oct. 12, officers arrested one driver for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. The vehicle was towed from the scene.A motorist reported a tire in the road creating a traffic hazard 10:25 a.
m. Oct. 15. An officer arrived, and found the tire which someone had already moved to the side of the road.A neighbor reported 4:51 p.m. Oct. 17 that a suspicious vehicle was parked in front of an unoccupied house and men were in the backyard making noise. The responding officer spoke to the homeowner by phone who verified that the men were contractors working there.After finding a check 7 p.m. Oct. 17 on the ground at Circle K a woman brought it to the police station. She did not give her name and just wanted the person to get their check. It was issued from a Chester Township landscape company. An officer will return the check to the company so they can get it to the owner.Police responded to the scene 1:16 p.m. Oct. 18 where a US Postal Service truck got stuck in a ditch. A towing company arrived and officers provided traffic control while the truck was pulled out of the ditch. Police saw no damage to the truck or the ditch.
