PUTRAJAYA: Cabinet members have been directed to give serious attention to issues related to their ministries as highlighted in the Auditor-General's Report 2021, says Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
The Prime Minister said their focus should be on expenditure, leakages and failure to abide by regulations.
"These matters must be given serious attention by the Cabinet so these mistakes will not be repeated," he told the media after chairing the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday . He pointed out the A-G report would usually come with recommendations and suggestions on how to rectify the problems.Anwar also said the Cabinet heard a proposal for more High Court judges to be appointed for Sabah and Sarawak.Article type: free
