A plane crash involving three vehicles along a highway in Victoria sent one person to a hospital and left three people with non-life threatening injuries.
An airplane made an emergency landing on a highway in Victoria Wednesday after running out of fuel, colliding with multiple vehicles in the process. Three vehicles were involved in the crash at Zac Lentz Parkway and Mockingbird Lane at around 3 p.m. Wednesday, leaving the intersection temporarily blocked, according to The Victoria Police Department .
, a Mississippi-based company providing specialized contract aircraft and flight crews for airborne GIS, survey and surveillance projects, according to the company's website. VPD Deputy Chief Eline Moya said in an update posted around 5 p.m. Wednesday that one individual suffered serious injuries and was transported to a hospital outside Victoria. 'We are glad that it wasn't worse than what it is. This is not something we see every day,' Moya said.
