A plane has crashed in Victoria in the intersection of Mockingbird Lane and Zac Lentz Parkway, according to Victoria Police Department.

Victoria Police Department reports a plane has crashed in the middle of an intersection in Victoria on Wednesday afternoon.Officials report the crash happened in the intersection of Mockingbird Lane and Zac Lentz Parkway around 3 p.m. Roadways have been shut down until further notice and traffic is being diverted, officials say.Victoria police confirmed three vehicles were involved in the crash. The Federal Aviation Administration reports only the pilot was on board the aircraft.

The pilot is still being evaluated.At this time, the condition of the individuals is unknown.The FAA states the plane was a twin engine Piper PA-31.
