Donald McPhail McKillop, 78, was pronounced dead at the scene when a car was involved in a collision with two pedestrians on Tuesday, January 3.A 67-year-old man was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Wishaw to be treated for his injuries.
Cops arrested a 61-year-old woman in connection with the incident, and she was later released pending further enquiries.Sergeant Roy McCarney of West Road's policing unit, said: “Our thoughts are with Donald’s family and friends at this difficult time. "Our enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing and officers will continue to offer support to those involved.”
