Emergency services were called to Lesmahagow Road in Strathaven around 7pm on Tuesday, January 3 after receiving a call about a collision.A 67-year-old man has been rushed to hospital to be treated for their injuries.
Cops have since arrested a 61-year-old woman in connection with the alleged incident but they are continuing to investigate.spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a report of a crash involving two pedestrians and a car off Lesmahagow Road, Strathaven around 7pm on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. “A 78-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. A 67-year-old man was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Wishaw.Share
