“Prior to leaving, I told everyone at my work I didn’t care how I place, I just don’t want to be last,” she said. “I looked at it as I still got a nice trip. I was still one of the top in the company, which that alone is a great feat. As for MasterTech 2024, XPO -- America’s leading asset-based less-than-truckload freight transportation company -- hosts an annual competition testing the professional skills and knowledge of its top technicians.
This ranged from troubleshooting electrical circuits and welding to inspecting and diagnosing problems with trailer doors.XPO is located at 12901 Snow Road in Parma. Now as the only female mechanic at the Snow Road business, Briggs said she’s affectionately known around as the “Trailer Queen.”
