Food Standards Agency has issued a warning

The popular brand is recalling several different flavours of its cookies since they may contain 'life-threatening' ingredient peanuts, which was not mentioned on the label. The stocks have affected have come from Indonesia.The Food Standards Agency said: "Whatever Brands is recalling several Oreo products because they may contain peanuts, which are not mentioned on the label. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts.

Customers with allergies are advised not to eat them and contact Whatever Brands’ careline team for further guidance on 0207 117 2970 by phone or by email at [email protected]. In a customer notice issued by Whatever Brands the company said: "Afected stocks are stickered with Whatever Brands Limited labels. No other Oreo products are affected. We apologisew for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your co-operation."
