The Food Standards Agency has advised customers of what to do if they have bought one of the affected items
Heron Food s has issued an urgent product recall over one of its popular kids chocolate treats. The store has warned some people could be at risk if they eat its Smileys Surprise Egg.
"This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to hazelnuts ." They went on to advise: "If you have bought the above product and have an allergy to hazelnuts , do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund. For further details please contact [email protected]."
The company advised customers that they can return the affected eggs to any Heron Foods store for a complete refund, regardless of having a receipt. Anyone with further queries can email [email protected], reports Wales Online.
