The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued a warning
The Food Standards Agency has issued a recall notice after Rathbones Kear is recalling several packs of crumpets could contain small pieces of metal. The affected product, which could be sold in stores across the country, includes Morrisons The Best 6 Crumpets with Sourdough, Morrisons Savers 6 crumpets, Morrisons Crumpets 6pk and Hovis Crumpets.
The FSA stated: "Rathbones Kear is recalling various packs of crumpets because they may contain small pieces of metal. The possible presence of metal makes this product unsafe to eat. "If you have bought the products do not eat them. Instead, return them to the store from where they were bought for a full refund ."
