A Texas man wanted for arson in his home state created a traffic hazard during the morning rush hour Wednesday by walking between moving vehicles on a Secaucus street, Secaucus Police Chief Dennis Miller said.
Tito Correa, 50, of Fort Worth ― who is on Tarrant County’s most-wanted list ― was located by Secaucus Police Officer Robert Schaffer at 8:23 a.m. in the area of Meadowlands Parkway and Wood Avenue walking between cars outside of a crosswalk. “The Patrol Division is the backbone of every police department and the Secaucus Police Department promotes proactive policing,” Miller said. “I am proud of Police Officer Schaffer and all the other members of the Secaucus Police Department for their ongoing proactive efforts to keep our community safe.”“The Patrol Division is the backbone of every police department and the Secaucus Police Department promotes proactive policing,” Miller said.
Correa was charged with being a fugitive from justice and issued a summons for use of designated crosswalk. He was taken to the Hudson County jail.
