While being taken out of the cell for an examination, Castellon attacked the officers by attempting to tackle them, authorities said.

A Bergen County man being arrested on drug charges attacked Secaucus police officers at police headquarters and then threw urine at them at a local hospital, authorities said.

Nelson Castellon, 27, Ridgefield Park, was operating a U-Haul rental truck when he stole gas from the Exxon station on Route 3 and then attempted to strike a gas attendant with the vehicle. Castellon was stopped by police on Mill Creek Drive, where he provided a false name, authorities said. Police searching him subsequent to the arrest found a small plastic bag containing a crystal-like substance believed to crystal methamphetamine and a glass pipe in his left jacket pocket.

When Castellan complained of pain, EMS responded and while being taken out of the cell for an examination, Castellon attacked the officers by attempting to tackle them, authorities said.
