Ohio State 2027 receiver pledge Jamier Brown could help push NIL over the line for high school athletes in Ohio.COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State coach Ryan Day said on Tuesday that the possibility of high schoolers in Ohio making money off their NIL would be a benefit to athletes across the state.

At his weekly Tuesday press conference, he was asked about the Ohio High School Athletic Association voting this week on whether or not to allow high schoolers in state to profit off their NIL. We’re in this phase. I can see it obviously benefiting the student-athletes, which ultimately, is a great opportunity for them.” In October, five-star 2027 wide receiver commit Jamier Brown and his mother filed a lawsuit to allow he and others to profit while still enrolled in high school.
