A cold front brought colder temperatures and wind gusts to Northeast Ohio. Lake effect snow showers are possible from Euclid to Conneaut, with heavier snow expected east of Cleveland. Dangerous cold air and wind chills are expected tomorrow.
CLEVELAND, Ohio - A cold front moved through early this morning. Temperatures will be falling into the lower 20s by late this afternoon. A southwest wind will gust over 30 mph at times. Lake effect snow showers from Euclid to Conneaut could give you locally up to 2 inches of snow. Everybody else should remain pretty dry today. It’ll be much colder and blustery tonight as the arctic air will be in place. Temperatures will be 10 to 15 degrees by early tomorrow morning.
Wind chills below zero by morning. Locally over 2 inches of lake effect snow is possible between Euclid and Conneaut. A bitter cold day tomorrow with below zero wind chills at times. A disturbance will bring a light snow to everybody by late morning. Lake effect snow is forecast to be heavier where locally over 6″ of additional snow is possible east of Cleveland where squalls persist. Driving tomorrow could very well be a challenge at times with dangerous cold air
